I’ve been working on releasing the Syllabus for some time since I started this blog. Any course you take has a syllabus and since this is personal development course for life, I figured it needed a syllabus.
I decided to create the syllabus as a resource for starting the personal development journey because starting this journey can be quite overwhelming. There are so many resources out there (blogs, audiobooks, ebooks, tape programs, etc) that figuring out where to start canĀ make you crazy. I’ve spent 5 years on this journey, andĀ I’ve read quite a few books and listened to quite a few tape programs. After going through all these programs, I realized that if they had been approached in a specific order, the same way you use textbooks for a course, then I would have been able to get more out of them. So, I decided to put this guide together for my readers. Here’s a preview of what I’ve included in this short 17 page guide on starting the personal development journey:
1. A list of all the top resources for Personal Development/Brief Overviews of Each One:
-Wayne Dyer’s Change Your Thoughts Change Your Mind
-Wayne Dyer’s Manifest Your Destiny
-Tony Robbins Personal Power II
-The Secret
-Brian Tracy’s Luck Factor
-Malcom Gladwell: The Tipping Point
-Echkart Tolle: A New Earth
2. Some of my own thoughts on Personal Development that ensure a successful and enjoyable journey
-What is the Matrix
-The Emotional Adjustment to the Matrix
-The Limitless power of imagination
-Tips for the Journey
I look forward to your insights and thoughts on the syllabus. You can download the syllabus here.

Great post!
Can’t wait to check it out! Thank you!
A great list. My list is a little different. My journey started with Vipassana Meditation, and the Power of Now. And various writers, like Joan Tollifson, Byron Katie, Nisgardatta, Ramana Maharshi, A course in miracles, Krishnamurti….too many to name, but all leading to non-duality…
