As the third installment in the interviews with up and coming bloggers series, I decided to Interview Nathan Hangen. He’s in the US Army and was really smart about how he used his time in Afghanistan.

  • How he uses a blog as a platform to launch other business ideas
  • A simple breakdown of how to increase your traffic when it’s in the low 100’s a day
  • Advice on how to launch a product, and mistakes to avoid
  • Setting up a profitable funnel system with your email list
  • A genuine approach to handling your newsletter

Good interview – excellent questions, to the point where although I know Nathan very well, there was still plenty I didn’t know his answers to.

Mike,

I’m glad you found the interview useful. I’m refining this process more and more as I get through the series. I have some plans to do quite a bit with the podcast series. I’m also in the process of launching a second blog which I’ll announce in a few weeks.

Nathan: Thanks for doing this interview. I think everybody will find it really useful and I’m glad to have connected with you.

Cool interview, I really noticed that most bloggers start with personal blogs and then realize there is something more attainable through blogging and eventually close in on a topic they are interested in.
