As kids, it seems we dream of the unlimited possibilities life holds when we get older. As adults, we look back at the unlimited possibilities we dreamed of and regret not following them. So, how should we correct the latter? Start doing what you love right now and work 18 hours a day doing it.

I never thought I would have found myself blogging and working online 15 hours a day for very little money and dreaming of what could be. But that is exactly what I m doing right now. I am trying to make it in this crazy world and be as successful as I knew I would become as a child. I never stop dreaming and I never stop chasing those dreams. If I did stop, then what am I doing? What am I trying to achieve? Ask yourself that question. What are you trying to accomplish by what you are doing in your life today? If the answer is not what you want, stop doing that RIGHT NOW. Not tomorrow. RIGHT NOW.

Dreaming of what you want to be is easy. Becoming what you dream of is difficult, exhausting, back-breaking, and frustrating. If you start doing what you love because you don’t want to work as hard as you are right now, think again. Starting what you truly want to do is going to be ten times harder. But it can also be extremely rewarding when you succeed, however big or small those success’ are.

Whenever I hear people say that they couldn’t be what they want because of this and that and the other thing, I ask them, “Why not?” Why can’t you do what you love? You only get one shot at this life so you might as well have a hell of a time living it up.

If I were to give you unlimited amounts of lemons, what would you do with it? Would you let them spoil? Would you have a small lemonade stand? Or would you work day and night to make your lemonade company the next fad among juice drinkers and a multi-million dollar company? If the last option would satisfy every dream and desire you ever had, then why not do that. Stop making excuses and make your life the best it will ever be.

Now get out there and start planning your bright future and don’t look back. Work your tail off. Don’t give up. Climb to the top of the lemonade world and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Most people in this world are not doing what they love. It’s a sad tragedy. Some circumstances in less well-off countries make it really difficult, but in the West here we have very little in the way of reasons why we can’t try to do what we love.

Nice post Dave. About 1-2 years ago I started thinking about what I really wanted and although I’m continually refining my goals, since doing that everything has just been easier. I know which opportunities to pursue, and most important I have a plan. :)

That’s right, dreaming is easy, but the work to get that dream realized is where the successful and not are separated.

Love and work….work and love, with this you will never work a day in your life – Sigmund

I find this quote to be another simple truth of life. Simplicity is usually the hardest facts to swallow in life. Dreaming is the only way to say you’ve lived on this planet earth. Even if the say wasn’t that long, it surely have you grateful for being fearless and having a vision only real to you. Great post!

Big Dreams come to fruition through hardwork, careful planning, accepting greater responsibilities in order to succeed.
A slight deviation dave, how do you cope with 6 hrs of sleep?
