By now, if you have been reading my blog, it’s no secret that I was probably a fish in another life. One of my friends jokingly said I have spent so much time in the water that I’m some sort of weird sea creature that developed immunity to the polluted water in Santa Monica where I surf on a regular basis. So to say that surfing is something I do is really no longer appropriate. It’s part of who I am. It’s a part of my story. Nothing gets me higher than riding waves and there are days where I literally feel like I’m counting hours till sunrise so I can get back to the water.
By now you’ve realized that I tend to write quite a bit about surfing, spirituality and the numerous life lessons that I’ve taken from my time in the water. I honestly have wanted to write more about surfing on this blog but I realized that reviewing surf spots and things like that have absolutely nothing to do with personal development.
So, I decided to just say to hell with it and launched my surfing blog, Stoked for Life. Yes, I will definitely be writing about the spiritual zen aspects of the sport there, since those are my favorite things about the sport. So, hopefully you’ll subscribe to it. I’ll also share stories from my time in the water and I’ll be using a bit more of an unfiltered raw approach to my writing there. So, I figured I should let you guys all know about it since you have all supported me through the growth of the Skool of Life. So, I’m totally stoked to share this new venture with you and hope to have you join me on this journey.

This is the way to go! I have a love-hate relationship with the water. I was terrified of learning how to swim as a kid, but would stay in the sea for hours til my parents dragged me out forcefully. I love water. It’s mystical. By the way, I read your bolg regularly and enjoy it. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for stopping by. I”m definitely loving the water. Yeah, surfing has transformed my life so I figured it was time to start a blog focused solely on that. Hope you’ll subscribe to the new blog as well.
I’m on it man. You are partly responsible for me getting back into the water on Sunday. Looking forward to more.
@Dave: Glad to hear you are getting back in the water. I don’t know how you guys do it up there. Although now that I’m into it, I’d probably find a way to deal with the cold.
