But the fact that you have the awareness of this kind of stuff at your age is going to enable you to make leaps and bounds of progress at a very early age, which I think will benefit you in all areas of your life.

This post also reminds me to keep my goals transparent and give myself a page or something on my site to keep track of my goals - but maybe Steven's program will engineer that into my blog (he contacted me about it too). Hmm.

Just as an example. I wrote that I'm working in a job as a social media marketer and that's exactly what I'm now employed as. Today is my first day.@Gordie: I've found that I'm replacing already with new ones. But I think people should keep the original list just so they can see all of their goals crossed off.@Robby: Don't worry about the flu. The way you should look at it is that it can only get better because you've already experienced the worst. I think prioritization is important.@Dani: Thanks for stopping by. Glad to see you back here :)@Dave: I found the same thing. One example was I kept writing down an income goal for how revenue from my blog. Within 2 weeks I had so many new ideas for revenue generation.@Penny: I would say if you follow through with this and do it religiously you'll be amazed by the results. I knocked off one of my top 3 goals already within the first 30 days of doing this and I can only imagine what else will happen. The thing is that the minute you accomplish one of them your belief in the power becomes reinforced and naturally the process becomes more powerful.

@Henri: I’ve been close to religious about following through on everything in this post because I’ve already started to see results. I have not been so strict with my goal setting though (probably should have been) but I always use measures like this with my day-to-day work life since I work from home. That is one area where I really plan on doing well this year.

It's been my experience that when I write them down, I don't even need to look at the paper. There's that thing you mention, a connection between hand and eye and brain that clicks it all in.I'm using a different method this year, and breaking it down into quarters. For various reasons, I'm only working on Q1 right now. Will post on how that worked out in April.

I like the top 10 idea, I usually just put goals down without prioritizing. This will help me out with knowing what's more important to me this year and getting it done in most efficient fashion.
Only wish I hadn't started the year off with a flu :(

This is a great post, because I know for myself that if I don’t create a list for myself of goals to accomplish then I’ll never have anything done. I use almost the exact steps, although one thing I do not do is review my goals, because I just set a few big intentions and I remember them clearly and hold them in my mind. I'm almost visualizing unconsciously which is programming my subconscious mind.Brainstorming is something I love to do now. I didn't like it in the past, but whenever I feel confused I just start by writing down a bunch of random stuff, then organize, then prioritize, then take action!
