Hey Kaushik,

Great point on letting go. You're right about the cultural pressure to be better succeed (especially when you are raised in an Indian family ;))

Great tips.

I've used all of these at various times. My ego was very resistant to awakening and it took repeated exposure to Power of Now and Vipassana Meditation sessions before it let down its guard.

I'm now much more open to non-cognitive development, such as EFT, EMDR and NLP. The mind is a very fast habit-machine...non-cognitive development works very well on it, and it's less stressful.

I might add 'letting go' to your list. There is a lot of cultural angst to improve, develop, be better, be fitter, be smarter, be more attractive...and the rest, and ironically, letting go the 'shoulds' and 'becoming' allows a natural development.

Thanks for the tips.

Wonderful! I love how you've addressed both active AND passive listening. Both are so important and we often only thinking about listening as a passive thing. Great advice here. Thank you!
